What we don't do.

We do not write or rewrite essays for students or provide you with a bank of essays. Although you may find essays at some of the links on this site, we strongly discourage plagiarism.

What we do.

We provide one-to-one online help using chat programs such as ICQ, and MSN Messenger. We can help you with your understanding of novels, plays, poetry, grammar, etc.. We will also look at your written work, point out your errors and make suggestions for improvements.All of the tutors at TheEnglishTutor.com are certified teachers in the province of Ontario, Canada. Most are currently teaching in secondary or elementary schools in the province. All of the tutors are English specialists.

How to get a tutor and how much does it cost?

If you would like to make contact with a tutor, you can go to our enrollment page . We charge $30:00US per hour. To take part in on-line tutoring you need a computer, internet access (preferably high speed or cable) and a program such as MSN Messenger or ICQ which is free. One of our tutors will get back to you to arrange on-line times, payment options, and answer any other questions you might have.
